Claus Spangenberg has more than 25 years of experience within all branches of IT Law, including acquisition of IT-solutions, where he assists in every stage of the project, from the negotiation and drafting of contracts to the implementation and approval of systems. Claus also advises on portal-, and cloud-solutions, license issues, and outsourcing. He is a certified IT-mediator with extensive experience in settling IT-related disputes.

Claus is also specialized in commercial contractual matters, where he advises on buying and selling of companies and the structuring of sales and distribution channels. Claus advises on the creation of collaborative business relationships and has extensive experience in drafting the related agreements, including framework agreements, shareholders’ agreements, partnership agreements and the like. Furthermore, Claus serves as a director on a number of company boards.

Finally, Claus advises international companies, particularly oil companies doing business in Denmark, on how to comply with mandatory Danish accounting and reporting requirements related to e.g. VAT, excise duties, EU duty suspension regulations, emergency stock and international pollution funds.
