Irene also advises within the field of Danish and international foundation law.

Irene has for more than 35 years been specialized in construction law, and has advised builders, contractors, engineers and architects throughout the process from acquisition of land through tenders and contract writing to solving problems during the building process and, representing a party in court or arbitration, if a dispute is unavoidable.

Irene has conducted a substantial number of court cases and represented clients in numerous arbitration proceedings. Irene is a member of Voldgiftsnævnet for bygge- og anlægsvirksomhed, the leading body of Danish building arbitration.

Irene has lectured extensively on construction law issues and real estate and is the Correspondent for Denmark for the International Construction Law Review.

Through many years of membership of the boards of several foundations, Irene has gained the knowledge and skills with respect to Danish as well as international law and practice in this area.

Irene advises Danish clients and trust funds among other things on their ownership of real estate abroard.
