
Jim Øksnebjerg advises on M&A, private equity, venture capital, securities law and company law. He has considerable experience in cross-border and public-to-private transactionsand has headed the strategic and legal advisory teams of Horten in connection with a number of complex transactions. Jim advises on issues relating tosecurities law and has since 1993 focused intensively on company law. He hasaccumulated in-depth expertise in company law – i.a. from his previous employment with the Danish Commerce and Companies Agency – and has wide experience in both public and private limited companies as well as othercorporate forms. In addition, he has more than 10 years’ experience advising investors and companies in connection with the preparation and completion of venture and private equity investments, sale of portfolio companies, management buy-outs, management buy-ins, etc, and also advises on the regulatory framework of innovation environments.
From 2003-2007, Jim Øksnebjerg was an external lecturer in company law at the University of Copenhagen where he has also taught the law of property andobligations for a number of years. Moreover, he has held a large number of courses within M&A, company law and share incentive schemes and been thechairman at a number of general meetings.
