Mikael Delin is primarily engaged in contentious work regarding construction law and insurance law and has over the last 20 years accumulated an extensive experience in litigation and arbitration
A large part of Mikael's work consists of disputes regarding technical consultants' professional liability, non-conformity and delay claims.
Mikael also advises employers, contractors and consultants in connection with the negotiation and conclusion of construction and consultancy contracts.
Moreover, Mikael conducts subrogation cases on behalf of both Danish and foreign insurance companies in a variety of matters, i.a. product liability claims, and he often handles non-conformity cases arising in the wake of property conveyances.
Given his extensive experience as a litigator and his Swedish background, Mikael is also in great demand as an advisor to Swedish companies finding themselves involved in commercial disputes in Denmark.
Finally, Mikael provides advice on regulatory insurance law and on the Danish travel guarantee fund.
Since 2009, Mikael has been serving as an external examiner on behalf of Danish Bar and Law Society in connection with the litigation exam ("retssagsprøven"), and in 2014 he was appointed an external examiner for the Master of Laws programmes in Denmark.
